NEW RICHMOND — Mrs. Elizabeth Van Curen Mason, 66, wife of Ewing Mason, former New Richmond resident, died Sunday night in the Orlando, Fla. Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Born Aug. 1, 1893 in Danville, Ill., Mrs. Mason married Mr. Mason Nov. 18, 1945. They moved to Mt. Dora, Fla., last March after having lived in this community since their marriage. Mrs. Mason was a nurse for several years. She took her nurses training in Buffalo, N.Y. The body is to be brought to New Richmond for funeral services and burial. Arrangements are incomplete.

NEW RICHMOND -- Funeral services have been arranged for Mrs. Elizabeth Van Curen Mason, 66, who died Sunday night at Orlando, Fla. She was the wife of Ewing Mason, former resident of this community. Mrs. Mason was a member of the New Richmond Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving, besides the husband, are a stepson and three stepdaughters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in the McCloud Funeral Home at Linden. Rev. John Cachiaras of New Richmond will be the officiating minister. Burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, beginning at 6 p. m. Wednesday.
